Happy Baby Girl

Little lady L has to be one of the happiest babies I've ever met. She smiled and laughed lots during her session. Six months is one of my favorite ages for photos, and it has everything to do with the wide-eyed wonder little ones display at this age. The whole world is amazing, and six-month-olds seem to get that. You can see that in her eyes.

Landry's Four Month Session

It's amazing to me to watch a newborn turn into a smiley baby. Landry has done just that, and she was all smiles for her parents throughout her session. That's evidence of a wee girl who is loved well. She wasn't such a fan of her Halloween costume, but she still gave a few smiles in spite of herself. I'm so excited to watch this little miss grow up.

Doubly Darling

Two-year-old twin girls are busy, independent, fun. They are learning to talk and wanting to go! and do! and be! and finding their feet in life. Neither little miss was certain they wanted to have their photos taken. And that's okay, because the end result was genuine expressions and real life. I'm glad I get to keep on telling the story of these little girls.

A Mama and Her Girl

This is the fourth year I've photographed these two, and it's such an incredible thing to watch a little girl grow up before my eyes. Watching she and her mom interact at this session was so fun. I think you can see love in these images.

Little Man

Jack is about to celebrate his first birthday, and if his demeanor is indicative of his ability to celebrate, it'll be a fantastic day. This baby loves life. He laughs and smiles and makes his joy known to everyone. I love how expressive he is, and I love that that expressiveness came through in this session. I also love his super creative style of crawling. Happy birthday, Jack!

These Three

They are growing up before my eyes, these three. I love the way their faces shine. They are a joyful trio who love each other and life. It's always an honor to update their photos. They make me smile.

Some of My Besties

Some of the most beautiful people I know. I love that I get to continue to tell the ongoing story of their lives visually. It's hard to believe Sam and Lucy are 5. It's not hard to believe that they're growing up to be incredible kids. They are thankful, precocious, fun-loving adventurers. I'm grateful to have the whole family in my life.

Grandpa Love Looks Like...

...two little girls laughing and dancing and delighting in life. Their grandpa has cared for them when their parents go to work since they were babies. This session was breathtaking and felt magical. The love between these little ones and their grandpa makes me tear up. I think you can see the love in these photographs. It's a treasure to behold.

Family, in Black and White

This session begged for black and white processing. I loved the candid, natural interaction of the boys and the new life their new puppy has brought into the house. I loved the gentle calm their mom brings. I always love shooting in Central Massachusetts, and this family is one of the reasons I love to keep going back.

Introducing Zachary

Meet Zachary, 5-days-old when we did his photos. Sleepy and snuggly and handsome and smiley. His mom and dad and big sis are head-over-heels in love. I can see why. Isn't he wonderful? (He was born to be a Rangers fan, so it's fitting that I'm writing his blog while watching the game.)

Adorable Times Three!

True story: I met this family on an airplane when the triplets were a few months old. We struck up a conversation, which led to me shooting the kids' one-year photos, which led to me shooting the kids' two-year photos, which led to this session. I'm so glad it did. These three are full of energy, curiosity and fun. It's been a joy watching them grow.

Katie and Anthony

Katie and Anthony got married last year in a private ceremony and celebrated a few weeks ago. We did a few photos of just the two of them before things got rolling and then spent the evening with their friends and family. I loved how loved they are and how they love each other.

A bonus of this gathering? My very first birth clients were there. So fun to see how their little miss has grown.
